RAM Cellars

2019 VIV Label Rose of Pinot Noir

A crisp and refreshing rose for a great cause!

About this wine

Viv, a French root word which means “to live / to be alive” also happens to be shorthand for our winemaker’s name, who, in her own words has this to say about the project: “Having the courage to follow my truth, and moving forward as myself means that I’ll be around for a long time to come. To be alive, indeed. And that I’ll be around for a long time to come means that there’s more time to do good, meaningful things for communities I am a part of. $5 from the sale of every bottle of this VIV label wine will be donated to the Q Center, an organization that provides a variety of types of support to queer and transgender communities in and around Portland, Oregon - a cause both incredibly personal and incredibly important to me - in an effort to do just that.” -Vivianne Kennedy, Winemaker 100% Pinot noir, think cherry cola, mango black tea, raspberry and slate! 48 hours of skin contact before finishing fermentation in stainless steel tanks. As always, this wine is a product of spontaneous native yeast fermentation and zero fining or filtration. Pairs well with seafood, soft cheeses, and the ones you love!
