Pinot Noir is a delicate grape and when produced true to its nature, becomes a wine that is medium bodied, age worthy and reflects the flavors of the terroir. If you like big, fat, oaky, fruity wines that stain your teeth purple, you most likely won't like this wine. What makes Pinot Noir so special, is that it's subtle and nuanced, and if you pay close attention when you drink it, you should taste what the roots of the vines picked up from the earth. You will sense the earthiness like forest floor, and mushrooms, iron, pine - all the things Mother Nature produces to nourish the earth. Our Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with wild game, lamb, mushrooms and makes for a great wine to have with your Thanksgiving turkey.
