About this wine
Aromas of honeycrisp apple, pineapple, overripe mango awaken the senses. Flavors of lychee, fresh apricot, honeycomb, and a zip of key lime dance across the palate. A nutty dryness lingers on the finish. A rare twist on a classic Rhone blend with the addition of Chardonnay. Chardonnay was pressed whole cluster into a stainless steel tank and the malo-lactic fermentation was blocked. Viognier was picked early to add fruitiness and acidity. A small percentage of Roussanne was barrel fermented and aged in neutral french oak.
Meet the Winemaker
In 2010 Patric Matysiewski began a career in fermentation. Hired on at Breckenridge Brewery originally to prep in the kitchen and wash dishes. Within a few months he was summoned to operate the canning line. From here on he excelled to bottling line operator and keg filler and washer.
