2020 Wiley Vineyard Anderson Valley Riesling

Alsace inspired style. Dry & lots of Acid!

About this wine

The aromas jump out of the glass, this wine is incredibly expressive with freesia and jasmine leading. Nectarine, key lime, and mandarin present themselves on the nose, followed by an extremely concentrated palate that only old vines can bring. The palate is full of lemon curd with pink lady apple juicy acidity. Very textured with a core of minerality. Riesling & Muscat (~5%) cofermented. Concrete egg fermentation and aging & 1 stainless steel barrel for 6 months, stirred. 3.09 pH 8.1 TA 12.8% Alc DRY ⚡️

Love Notes and High Praise

Straight up this wine is ridiculously good! Its clean and refreshing, reminds me of a lemonade on a hot summer day in the park. Only this is so much better because its wine! Its Riesling! Beautiful flowers on the nose with lemons, limes, and mandarins creating a juicy and delectable palate. This wine is a serious treat.

Ashley Holland

Winemaker/Co-Owner

Read Holland Wines

A serendipitous road brought Ashley to winemaking. Originally from Oklahoma, she grew up riding horses and hoped to become an equine veterinarian. While studying animal science, she took a class called “International Beverage Education,” as an elective. After a couple of classes focused in wine, she quickly realized that the science from studying to become a veterinarian, applied to winemaking as well.
