Meet the Winemaker

Ben and Katy Sposato

Winemaker / Proprietors

Acri Wine Company

Ben began his winemaking journey by making wine for family and friends. His family comes from the small town of Acri in Southern Italy and they have been making wine for generations. After his family moved to Long Island in the early 1900's, they continued making wine using local fruit. Ben grew up in the Finger Lakes region and has always been fascinated by winemaking and continued that passion as he moved to California, where he and his wife Katy started a winery in Los Angeles.
