Big, small. Bold, timid. There really is no counterpart to the word minuscule in English. In French the opposite is majuscule, literally meaning a capital letter. The juxtaposition of big and small embodies our wine making philosophy. We craft big yet elegant and balanced wines from exceptional single vineyards in the Napa Valley. We are a small, family owned and run winery that specializes in Cab Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Our award-winning wines are produced in very small lots - typically less than 100 cases per wine - with an intense focus on quality.

Meet the Team
JEFF DAVIS & GREG BRICKEY
From wine enthusiasts to wine store owners and now wine makers, our wine journey began in 2004 when we stopped in Sonoma and Napa during a holiday road trip. We became hooked on the wines and region. This kicked off a routine of visiting Napa and Sonoma every other month to explore, learn and join way too many wine clubs.
In 2006 we bought a neighborhood wine store and bar in Scottsdale, Arizona as our first entry into selling wine, while Greg completed the winemaking program at UC Davis. Our wine shop was the perfect launchpad to winemaking and the catalyst for our move to the Napa Valley, where we also got married.
Initially Greg worked for several wineries, making wine and sourcing grapes from vineyards across the Napa Valley. During this time, he made the first two barrels of his own wine as a side project he named Majuscule, which is one of his favorite words in French. In 2018 we made Majuscule an official winery. Greg’s winemaking style is about the pursuit of balance and elegance. At Majuscule, he makes Cab Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon in the Burgundian style, using open-top fermenters and no pump overs to create elegant, fruit-forward wines.
