  • Belden Barns

    California

We Beldens feel incredibly fortunate to be stewards of this magical site on Sonoma Mountain which has taken turns as a dairy farm, prune orchard, and turn-of-the-century rural retreat, complete with a dance hall and stagecoach stop. The property’s long history of farming and hospitality dates back to the late 1800s. From the moment you arrive at Belden Barns and begin wandering through hillside vines, 1870s-era agricultural buildings, and valley-wide vistas, it’s easy to feel like you’ve walked into a dream. "One of Sonoma County’s most compelling new wineries of the last decade!" – Kim Westerman, Forbes
  • Bello Family Vineyards

    California

Bello Family Vineyards is a small, family-owned winery in Napa Valley producing extraordinary wines from an estate vineyard. The dream was set into motion when Michael Bello purchased a piece of prime real estate in Napa Valley’s Rutherford Bench district. Intent on transforming his passion project into a tangible reality, Michael began working toward his goal of producing nothing less than a premium Cabernet Sauvignon of the highest quality imaginable. Since that time he has been joined by his son Christopher Bello, and the two have combined to create a powerful force in the industry. Rising to the top requires a prudent blend of hard work, perseverance and passion—the recognition that a simple focus on doing what you love equates to a life well lived, free from the demands of work. At Bello Family Vineyards, we like to think our drive and passion for making wines of the highest possible quality shines through in every bottle, and we hope you will agree.

    California, shipping_California

Established in 1996, Darcie Kent Vineyards is a 100% women-owned winery in the San Francisco Bay’s Livermore Valley region of the Mt. Diablo Highlands. Fifth generation vintner/artist Darcie Kent and Hungarian-born winemaker Julian Halasz work in unison to handcraft small lot, single vineyard wines from sustainably farmed, family-owned vineyards along the Central Coast. Darcie and her daughters Kailyn and Amanda proudly carry on their family tradition. Like her great grandfather before her, Darcie uses her original art for her wine labels and strives to capture the unique spirit of each vineyard and its owner in her breathtakingly beautiful labels that grace each bottle. In early 2013, Darcie and her two daughters acquired the current Estate Winery on Tesla Road and began a state-of-the-art renovation. Since that time, more than 20 of our estate grown Livermore Valley wines have scored 90+ points in the Wine Enthusiast magazine placing Darcie Kent amongst the top three wineries in our region. Darcie Kent is a fully self-sufficient winery with sustainable grape growing, fermentation, barrel aging, bottling and cellar door sales all on site.
  • Drive Wines

    California

In 2015, John and Tom met at Santa Rosa Junior College’s wine studies program studying Viticulture and Enology. That fall, they made a barrel of Zinfandel from Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley in Tom’s garage. That first wine would go on to win a Silver Medal in the Sonoma County Harvest fair and a passion was born! Making an arrangement with vineyard owner Pete Lewis, Tom and John exchanged vineyard management for grapes and production space in Pete’s garage. The garage, used to restore vintage racing cars, would become a major source of inspiration and “Drive Wines” was born. The wines they made in the garage would go on to win multiple gold and silver medals in amateur competitions. After several harvests together, John and Tom launched Drive as a professional wine business. In 2017, they produced a Zinfandel from Puccioni Ranch in Dry Creek Valley and in 2018 a Rosé of Zinfandel from Comstock Vineyard, also in Dry Creek Valley. The wines were released in the spring of 2019 and would go on to win Double Gold and Gold medals among the best wines of California. From humble beginnings, through hard work and persistence, the Drive story continues to evolve.

  • Enfield Wine Co

    California

Enfield Wine Co. is the family project of John Lockwood and Amy Seese, with a focus on producing wines of personality. We do not subscribe to the ideal of the perfect wine, but to the notion that the very best wines tell a unique story. Driven by soil first and foremost, Enfield Wine Co. seeks out vineyards that possess a distinct and powerful sense of place – across region, grape variety, and vine age. Working only with small vineyards and independent growers, every step of the process is guided by the intent to maximize this character of terroir. Grapes are harvested for balance and the wines are all given the chance to ferment naturally. The lineup of wines extends from fresh, mineral driven everyday wines, to quirky “off the beaten path” vineyards and varietals, and age-worthy wines of elegance and power from classic regions of California. Each has its own story to tell.
  • Erggelet Brothers - Coming Soon!

    California

After working our way through harvests, cellars, kitchens and many bottles of wine in France, Switzerland, Australia and Spain the Brothers came to California in 2014 with just enough savings to cover two months’ rent and buy a ‘well used’ Subaru. After gaining invaluable experience at OVID and Seven Stones Winery in the Napa Valley, then Martin Estate in Rutherford and Hannah Nicole Winery in Brentwood, we started making our own wine in 2015. Sebastian is the Associate Winemaker for Grgich Hills Estate in Rutherford. Julian spends his days fixing tractors and farming his vineyard and orchard in Contra Costa County. With some patience, a good sombrero and German OCD, we are farming with integrity and make wine that tells a story of sand, blazing sun and howling winds off the California Delta.

  • Guthrie Family Wines

    California

Welcome to Guthrie Family Wines. Your go to spot for responsibly made wine from organic grapes. We believe in making wine the old way with a clean and polished finish. We care about the environment in which we farm, and that less is more in the cellar! Wine is not just about wine! It's about people, it's about places. Let's start picking people up instead of pushing them down! It is the belief in making pure and honest wines that sets us apart from the rest. Our passion for changing the way we view farming and making wine is representative of the next generation of winemakers. We are on the brink of a new mentality of farming and winemaking, where less is more and organic is considered conventional. Not only do we strictly crush organically grown grapes and process them with few ingredients, but our wines are also Vegan and Gluten free and never have unnecessary added grape concentrates. We then use minimal effective sulfites as a anti-oxidizer, ensuring our wines are fresh and bright while still made within our standards of winemaking. We ferment with whole cluster grapes giving our wines a beautiful, bright flavor with earthy undertones. We want our wines to be fun and drinkable, so you won't find any residual sugar, high alcohol or overbearing oak here! But what you will find is depth, layers, and complexity. We want them to be fresh and pure so you can party all night!
  • Keep Wines

    California

Winemakers Jack Roberts (former Matthiasson Wines Assistant Winemaker) and Johanna Jensen (Scholium Project and Broc Cellars allumn) have come together to create wines influenced by the old world with less ripe fruit, minimal manipulation and great ageability. In the vigneron tradition, they do much of the work themselves from vineyard to bottling. The crest on the bottle is of Beverston Castle, an 11th century Norman stronghold in Gloucestershire, England where Jack’s father was born and raised. All that remains of Beverston today is what you see -the moat and the tall ‘keep’, (from the middle english kype, or barrel) which was the defenders' last resort in a siege. It was also where they stored their most precious possessions, especially their wine.
  • Kivelstadt Cellars

    California

Kivelstadt Cellars was founded for our love of amazing California vineyards. After leaving a career in consulting in his early twenties, Jordan Kivelstadt traveled the world making wine in California, Australia, Chile, and Argentina. In 2007, Jordan made 125 cases of Estate Syrah. He drew inspiration both from his winemaking experiences in the new world and his family’s passion for European cuisine, art, and wine culture. Hence our focus became exploring the product of incredible California vineyards, with a nod toward the rich history and balance of the old world wines that came before us. Since the inaugural 2007 vintage, our production has grown to 5,000 cases annually. We strive to create wines of intrigue that maintain a fun and approachable style and challenge the status quo of conventional California wines.
  • Lucid Wine

    California

We are local: based in Sacramento, born & raised & thriving. We are organic & natural. We are preservative free, sulfite free, additive free, pure & vegan. We are small-batch made by Winemaker Kevin Luther. We are community: we donate to charity for every bottle sold. But most of all, we are delicious wines! Every winery website must by necessity of brevity and straightforward story-telling leave out the many people who contributed to the creations. Yet, I want to take a moment to give them credit. I purchase my grapes from local, organic vineyards tended by passionate vineyard owners who went the extra mile to grow organic & become certified. Behind them are their friends & family who helped, and the many Mexican farm workers and crews who tend all vineyards and farms in California, to whom we owe so much. In my harvesting & winemaking, I have had much help from my own friends and family, as well as wine industry friends who have assisted me and given me a hand up. In my design & development I have had collaborators and volunteers who have helped me bring my vision to something beautiful I could not have achieved by myself. Now, in my current winery business, my brothers and dad have all helped me, and my brother Jerome has become the hidden half of the business, running logistics and operations, or “whatever Kevin doesn’t want to do” as he describes it. And my mom, aunts, uncles and cousins have become my top supporters and word-of-mouth marketers. Thank you all, I am incredibly grateful for it all. So if you enjoy these wines and what we have created, may your gratitude and compliments be shared with all of those who have taken part in the creation.
  • Mandrake Wines

    California

In Folklore dating back to pre-biblical times, the mandrake root was imbued with all manner of magical powers. It was known to be an antidote against enchantments, to make the barren fertile, and, most commonly, to have power as a love potion. Aphrodite, Greek Goddess of Love, was sometimes known as the "Lady of the Mandrake" for the root's association with life's carnal pleasures. Our wines pay homage to this sensual goddess, this magical root, and the tradition of winemaking that is as old as these two legends.
  • Merisi Wines

    California

At Merisi Wines, our intentionally small lot wines are made with a wildly big heart. Our endless pursuit of quality begins in the vineyard: partnering with multi-generational family growers whose stewardship is reflected in their sustainable, organic, and thoughtful practices. In the cellar, we seek to translate these beautiful truths and capture the nuance of each site through minimal intervention winemaking: picking by taste and flavor, preserving a grape’s natural acidity, native fermentations and minimal sulfur additions. In wine, we call this terroir: honest interpretation of the vineyard. In art, curators describe it as passionate realism. Merisi Wines is named after the Italian painter Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio, perhaps the most provocative painter of this style. His pursuit of authenticity and distinctiveness from his peers became our beacon of truth telling and excellence. We hope you enjoy the discovery of Merisi Wines!
  • Newfound Wines

    California

  • Onward Wines

    California

Site driven single-vineyard selections. We have a strong commitment to our environment, and believe that sound practices are not only essential for the survival of the wine industry, but also produce the highest quality wine. To that end, we’ve searched carefully to find vineyard sites that provide excellent fruit quality accompanied by earnestness on behalf of the grower. We are extremely proud to have formed long-term collaborative relationships with growers at Hawkeye Ranch, Cerise Vineyard, Capp Inn Ranch, Casa Roja Vineyard, Ledgewood Vineyard, Knox Vineyard and Babcock Vineyard. I am a true believer in personal connection and there is a story behind each vineyard site and how it came to be part of my portfolio. In these stories you will learn more about the people behind these vineyards. I liken my connection to these vineyards to that of one’s favorite shirt or coffee mug or chair. Like a well worn fabric or a slightly chipped mug that may have initially caught my eye for its beauty, but over the years it has won my heart because it just feels right. When it comes to vineyards this happens too, and it is a combination of my connection with the vines themselves and my connection with those that tend them. For me the growers hands are most definitely part of the terroir. My style is about letting the vines speak. They are the art, I am the canvas, my job is to give them a chance to share their beauty in each and every vintage. My decisions are driven from the vineyard and the vintage, my cellar practices are to uphold the truths I find in the vineyard. To this end I pick early looking for balance of flavors at lower ripeness, as I find this is when each vineyard is in its most unique expression of self. "I see these vineyards as treasures. As a winemaker it is my goal to preserve these treasures and share them as wines."
  • Prima Materia Vineyard and Winery

    California

Prima Materia is a bottom-up adventure that begins with digging holes, pounding stakes, and constant time spent in the vineyard first, and then the winery. We are proud to work within an ancient agricultural tradition, and that vast, sometimes cyclical history is a central part of our story. The wines are crafted in criminally small batches of two to ten barrels each, producing 1,200-1,500 cases per year. We grow our own grapes at 1,500' of elevation in Lake County's red volcanic soils between the Mayacamas mountain range and the extinct Mt. Konocti volcano. We don't use herbicides or pesticides, and we naturally craft unfined and unfiltered wines using traditional methods that produce ageable bottles that respect classical styles interpreted through our vineyard.
  • Protector Cellars

    California

Protector Cellars is the world’s first climate positive (beyond carbon neutral) winery. Our mission is to give wine drinkers an environmentally responsible option that will help preserve the world’s winegrowing regions in the face of climate change. By examining every part of the wine production process, we are able to make choices that result in the lowest possible greenhouse gas emissions, even if these decisions break with industry norms. We then go beyond offsetting our remaining carbon footprint to have a net positive impact on the environment every time our wines are purchased. We focus on balanced, food-friendly wines from the Central Coast of California, with all of our grapes grown on certified sustainable vineyards.
